The MD range of battery switches enables you to install the switch in close proximity to the battery, minimizing cable lengths to the starter motor, due to higher load demands and rising costs of copper battery cable.

They are also ideal for remote isolation of bow thrusters. Available in 275A and 500A, both switches are operated by the 113546 dash mounted switch or alternatively, any standard on/off switch can be used.

Functionality of 113671 is near identical to that of the previous model, however additional advanced wiring options are now possible, and installation has been simplified for standard systems by minimizing the number of connections required. Standard installation is the same for both 113670 and 113671 switches. 113671 features digital circuitry and optical sensor positioning that automatically adjusts for either 12V or 24V input, and offers convenient remotely activated battery switching, combined with low power consumption.

Designed and constructed for longevity in the marine environment, both switches utilise tinned copper conductors, stainless steel nuts, and high temperature, fibre reinforced plastics. The units are ignition protected, provide on/off switching operation, and may be recessed or surface mounted.

113671 offers additional installation options, whereby the motor/circuit board can be fed from either one, or two fully independent 12V or 24V supplies so the battery switch contacts are completely isolated.
