Holy crap this starter is amazing! I am using this with an adapter in a 1984 Vanagon with a Subaru EJ25 conversion. I have tried a lower quality rebuilt unit straight from the part store but it didn't have the power to crank the engine when it was up to temp. I decided to give this one a try since it was highly recommended and I couldn't be happier! Hot or cold, this cranks faster than the other one ever did. Avoid the auto part store junk and get this one.
